Everything went well. The tractor frame seems to torque or twist when digging into fresh sod. I guess that's why they invented plows!

My son was upset because a weld broke when he loaded it on a trailer but after inspection one of two welds was rusted at the break already. 15 minutes cured the problem.
this was the piece that connects to the rear of the tractor with a U shaped piece. There were only 2 side welds and none on the front and rear of the piece. I welded all 4 seams.
Corn patch tilling coming today in between running for auto parts and waiting for a contractor to double check what an insurance adjuster estimated for hail damage on house and "city" barn (12x32).

Glad it tilled well for you. It was better for the weld to break while going on the trailer then when in the middle of a big job somewhere far from a welder!
