I will put in my 1970 John Deere 140 H3 snow clearin machine. Had this tractor for about four years now. Had been cuttin grass with it and other haulin around stuff duties. Been in a few parades with it too.
The reason I bought this tractor, is I had wanted some new colour for the fleet. But I was also very interested in the hydraulic ports on the front of the tractor. I wanted to get into playing with hydraulics some, which I know nothing about. This tractor gave me the option of hydraulics.
So this year I found a snow thrower for it and got that hooked up. Then I figured, still more ports on the front, so put them to work. So I put a cylinder on the top chute of the thrower , so I can tip it up or down as needed. Works great.

I will nominate my 79 sears GT/18. It was a real mess when I got it. It had a bad tranny . The front grille was smashed . The frame was cracked and had a horrible weld job done to try to fix it.
I made the grille by hand from steel. I hand made the muffler . I put a tranny in it from a newer gt18. Rebuilt the engine and carb tore it apart to the bare frame, took the frame sections apart. I replaced all the bolts with stainless. Ground the cracked welds off and fixed it right. Runs like a top now. I got a plow for it and a deck.

I will put in the Sears SS15 in again. I got this in April of last year in trade for a Cub Cadet 102 because I had the attachments for a Sears and needed my garden plowed. I have painted it twice and added some super lugs in the back. I use this for growing my market gardens, pulling the kids around the field and pull broke down mowers in to the shop for repair.

How about another Red one? 1641 Speedex. Saw this on epay and bid and won. Came to me thru other members on here, thanks for the help guys.

Came as engineless chassis. Frame seemed narrow for most engine mounts. The later found it had a Briggs Vanguard V-twin, like many of the later Speedex had then. Was 16hp. I never found that size, but bought a wheelhorse with 12.5 hp engine, just like it, running. Switched it over to the Speedex as I went. I tore the whole tractor down to frame, painted it all up. Mounting parts back on as I cleaned/ painted and repaired as needed. Had a little trouble with engine, starter was shot in bearings and had some wiring to figure out to keep it running AND stopping with the key. Then, had no exhaust, was straight pipes. SO, hard to find correct exhaust. Did find a similar one from Cub to use on it for now. Will be looking for higher fitting one in future. Have to get decals yet, they are coming now and will be pretty tractor.

I am going to nominate a tractor most overlook and do not restore. It is the John Deere Model- 70 mine is a 1970 model with the Tecumseh VH-70 engine witch was a 7.hp .Now its little older brother the model 60 had the VH -60 and was a 6.hp. The 70 has a 3speed trans with reverse in my thought was a big mistake as Deere offered a 2-speed rearend in there older model 60 only thing is you had to change by hand .But the slower speed made it nicer when using a snow blower. now the little 70 only weight in at a mirror 384# . In low you could achieve a speed of 1.9 and a top speed of 5.0 could be obtained.

I have bought and sold several of these model 70'es over the years and decided it time to restore and keep one in my collection so I started taken everything apart engine was a very good runner so it needed just a carb rebuild. The trans I rebuilt with all new bronze bearings and new detent springs and balls on shifting forks and also repaired a little crack in the center of hood .

I then sand blasted all the metal parts aired off wipe down with thinner and epoxy primed then two coats of Dupont paint added a new seat and new tri ribs on front and lug tires on the rear. I enjoyed doing this little tractor as it was in good shape overall when I started . Hope you all enjoy my story

I would like to nominate my 1989 Cub Cadet 1772, a tractor made only one year. I purchased it from the original owners son, who was still using it to mow around the family owned motel in the small town close to where I live. I received all the manuals and records where it was serviced at the local shop, it was obviously never worked hard, as the rear end bolts were still good and tight unlike most tractors this model. Boy was I happy to have a family owned 1772 that was well taken care of!

After getting it home I decided it needed some work, but it took a year before I was able to get to it. I have a friend who lives nearby that helped a lot with the upgrades I did. After I had acquired all the parts I needed I dug into it, I added a CV driveline, rear end braces, a three point, wider custom offset rims, Firestone flotation rears tires, V61 front tires, and front weights, bumper and exhaust tip from xtreme motor works. I use it with my carryall and brinly planter in the summer, and hope to take it to a plow day in the spring at some point.

I'm nominating my Bolens QT-17 back in for a second try. Got it a couple years back from my dads friend in good condition but it was all covered in weeds and dirt. So i brought it home and power washed it and get it looking decent before I got into working on it. Nothing majorly wrong, had to buy some new pulleys for the mower deck. I thought the battery was shot but for the heck of it I through it on the charger. The next day I checked if it held a charge and surprisingly it did.

So i used it for a while mowing the lawn and hauling some wood, then the u-joint wore down and broke. So I got that fixed. Then started to look for a snowblower attachment for it but know one had the one that would fit it. This past month I found one up in Saginaw MI. Emailed the guy if he had all the parts for it (didn't see that it had all the parts in the picture) anyways he had all the parts. So me and my dad took a 6 hour drive there and back. But it was worth it. Didn't have to do a lot of work to it but replace the bearing and add some set screws. Then we got it all hooked up and ready to go, and it works like a charm! Also added some new head lights and tailgate lights.

Thought i would put in som orange. This is my 1964 Simplicity Landlord Blackdash 314. I got it a cople months ago from a celery farmer for free. It came with two 42" decks but no hood or grill. After we got the tire fixed and the carb cleaned it ran good but surged alot. The throttle shaft was really loose which was causing the problem.

The our buddy Jacob gave us a hood and a grill. A couple weeks later the celery farmer got us the original grill. :thumbs: .

We bought the snow blower in a "Package deal" Paid 50$ for it and a 2010 landlord. Put that on it andgotter going but shredded the belt. I cant really try it out because i dont have chains or wheel weights yet. Then a couple days ago my dad made me the "stinger weight" on the back. Weighs 41 pounds which is a little more than 15ilbs over factory stingers.

After failing at climbing the drive way once i tried again. Since i had the stinger i thought i was invincible. I was wrong. So i put sand on the driveway for more traction. Then the carb started acting up AGAIN and i was stuck good. Weighing over 750 with everything, its not easy pushing up an icy, 45 degree driveway.
