Hello everyone, I've been searching for a decent Bolens ride a matic tractor for awhile now and still haven't found one locally. Bolens 1000 had some info on one but it turned out to be way to rough, and the owner was asking to much money for it. I attached photos of the tractor so everyone can see how rough it is. So back to the drawing board once again! If anyone knows of a decent one at a decent price near or around buffalo ny, I'd appreciate the info. I'm willing to drive to surrounding states also if need be to get a good machine. Any help would be great,Thanks everyone!

I was at an estate sale a few years ago looking to bid on a HT20 LF. Well I checked out the ht20 and then walked in the garage and there was a restored ride a matic sitting in the corner. It went for $425. I'm still pissed I didn't bid and take that thing home!

Been looking for 1 too. That one doesn't look too bad is it for sale. I am attracted rusty crusty project tractors.
I know where 1 is sitting rotting away but had no luck contacting the owner of the property. It sucks seeing it out there sitting in the woods

I just bought a 1960 Ram for half that in better condition, but with the wrong engine. $100 wouldn't be an unreasonable price for that one. But it would take alot of work to get it restored.
Yea, by the time I put 4 tires on it, straighten the rear frame area, find and buy a new gas tank, sandblast everything and hope there is sheet metal left after, go through the whole motor, go through everything else on it, buy all sorts of parts and paint it, etc., etc., I'd be better off buying a restored tractor that's done.

Fonz, is that your add on Buffalo craigslist?[/quote

Yes it is. I figured I'd try and see if anyone in the area had something, nothing yet.

The one in the pics is long gone... worth scrap price IMO

No rear hitch, no good air cleaner, no good tank , no good hood , wrong carburetor ect, ect.

You'd end up spending $1000+ finding the OEM parts to replace the rotted ones that are on there ......

I have a RAM that needs a motor I would sell. Long ways to get it or have it shipped though. I has another motor on an extended frame that drive it now. Overall the tractor is in decent shape and have used it some to make sure all was well. Has a 6hp Briggs with recoil on it. If interested I can post a couple pics of it.
