Where are you located? That makes a lot of difference in price. If you don't have the time to clean the carb you might be upset at the low offers you'll get. As a buyer I'd expect to get a bargain on an old machine that isn't running right. too many other variables. I'm sure this isn't you but shady sellers have been known to hide drivetrain issues by saying "ran great last year" or "should be an easy fix," etc. If it was me i'd try tuning it up and getting a fair price, if i couldn't get it running right then i'd be honest and ask a more reasonable price so the next guy might not lose his shirt on it. but that's just my .o2 good luck

Pricing varies so much by location, market for a brand or model, condition, and accessories.
The best barometer on this (and an easy place to start) is to look at Craigslists in your area (remember to divide by two - what they are asking to find out what they really sold it for. Kidding, but you get the idea) and that will hopefully give you some similar models to look at and base a price around.

That's too bad. Highest I ever seen a Bolens go for in Colorado is $50.00.

I'll give you that and be out next week to get it. I forgot to ask, does the deck come with it? :smilewink:

I think I found his listing on CL. And it does not include a mower deck. He also states it just needs a carb cleaning but doesn't specify if he ever replaced the missing choke cable bracket that holds the cable firm from moving around. Asking $750.00
