Let's see your favorite attachment for your Bolens and a short description of why it is. The attachment doesn't need to be one made by Bolens.

Action shots are even better!

For me I would say my home made two stage snow blower for my 1050 this time of year. It makes it a lot easier to get around the yard in the winter time when walking without having to fire up the large tractor and blower if it is a light snow fall or drifting from the winds we get off the lake where I live. It is also handy for the times when the wind is from the direction that leaves the laneway virtually snow free except at the end where the plow has filled it in at the road. Attached are pictures and a video of it working from last year (sorry about the video quality as I am not a camera / snow blower operator multi tasker).

Very nice snowblower, Stew! Thank you for all the pics. I can see why it is your favorite and how handy it is to have. Great looking setup!

For me it has to be my Johnson Workhorse loader,if it's spreading gravel or lifting tractor parts around, sure is easier on the back
You speak my language! A Johnson loader is one versatile tool. Thank you for the picture.

For me it's the forklift on the 1886, the Flail-Mo, and Sickle-Mo pretty much tied.

The forklift might have a wee bit of an edge, but not by much.

How about some vids of each :D :D :D

Nothing wrong with a toss up! Thanks for posting the videos. I especially like the forklift; now I can say I've seen and heard it in action! Cool!

I would have to say that it would either be my Danuser CD-1 post hole digger or my Johnson forklift. Another toss-up! Although once I get my Bulldog trencher refurbished and working, that might change.

Right now I would say it is the 48" mower deck.

It is a much later model deck that I made fit my old first Gen 800. It just munches up everything I have thrown at it in the field, short of trees that is. The scrubby mesquite saplings are wiped out by this setup. The other yard tractors just don't have the grunt. I don't mow it fast with this but it does not cry with whats in its way.

I love my Brinley attachments. The plow, disk, and cultivator are so much fun in the garden. As for favorite favorite? I have to cede that to my farmall 504 row crop attachments, especially the loader.

Nice choise's Doug, that forklift looks familiar lol,but have to say you never see the post hole diggers, very rare indeed
That forklift should look familiar, Rick, considering you had it first. My contribution was the upper part of the cage. I managed to buy that from Sonny's Bolens out of the weeds on the same trip. Just before Sonny's really went into the tank. Robert (Sonny's Bolens) said that he took it off his Johnson forklift because it was too high for him to get the unit into his shop, so he had no use for it. He was happy to have the cash for whatever chemical he was into that day.

Well this time of year I'd have to say my 42" two stage blower being pushed by my DGT 1700. It works amazing. Here is a video i'm in over a foot of snow that was packed down from blowing snow in that area. The snow was kind of packed and hard to push through about to the top of the blower housing. Just go slow and steady with a diesel and it will growl down and do the job.

Wow you got a trencher! Only seen pics of one.

Wonder if any of these made it to the UK??

Well my only attachment which works ATM is my 54in mower deck. What a beast it is for tackling the field

I only have a few attachments for my 1054 right now ( home built sleeve hitch, Brinly cultivator, 10" Brinly plow, Two wheel dolly converted to a garden cart, 33" tiller and 38" mower deck). The tiller needs some work to make it useable and may become my favourite this spring if I have it done. Right now though it is the 3 blade 38" mower deck. I have been through several stamped steel box store riding lawnmowers with 2 blade decks, then finally got this Bolens. The 3 balde deck does a much better job and I am able to drive at double the speed of the old machines. This leaves me with a lot more time on the weekends to work on stuff other than cutting grass.
