Seems every Wisconsin powered bolens I own i have had to change the head gasket on them, I always worry about these old crusty rusty head bolts snapping in the block, do you guys have a trick of some sort to minimise the risk of breaking a head bolt?
I'm getting ready to get it done on the 850 soon and what I have done so far is soak the bolts with penetrating oil and let it sit for a few days.
Also, is it overkill to replace the head bolts? Or is reusing the old ones what most people do?
