Any body ever put one on a garden tractor. ? Any Ideas. I would like to put one on my LGT 100 Ford. On the right running board. But still want hand throttle to work also.

Wouldnt that require a 2 foot shift? Unless you are dirt tracking the thing, I really dont see the need for a foot throttle. A gear tractor doesnt rap out like a car does when you push in the clutch. I find a good rpm for the work I am doing and leave it there.I think i mentioned this in another thread on this subject. Think of making a de-celerator like on Cats, that way you don't have to hold the pedal down all the time.

With a decelerator your foot is off the pedal and engine is running at full governed speed or wherever you set the hand throttle. If you want to bring the engine down to a lower speed or idle you push down on the pedal. Otherwise your foot is off the pedal.Wouldnt that require a 2 foot shift?
