Looking for some help I have a 140 with 48 inch deck serial #042473M Can any one tell me if they make a complete redecking kit for this deck my spindles are all dad. I went to press out the shafts and it blew the lower spindle apart. in the snap ring groove . any help would be appreciated thank you

I'm no expert, but I did have to replace the main spindle on the deck for either my 140 or 318. If you can get the part numbers for the spindles, most likely from JDParts.com, you should be able to Google them on the internet. That's how I found what I needed.
I just checked, and along with the Operator's Manual for the "41 and 48" decks, I also have the parts catalog for them. The OM is scanned in as a PDF, but the Parts Catalog isn't. Let me know if you would like either of both. Might take me a day or two to scan in the Parts catalog.

PC1069 covers the 41 and 48 decks FWIW
Spindles are specific to the serial number on the deck so make sure you get the right pieces. A quick glance on www.jdparts.deere.com shows they show the basic hub, assembled hub, and full assembly including the pulleys.
As for breaking a spindle, I wiped one out myself when rebuilding the 48 deck that was on the 314 I owned for a while.
