Please tell me you are going to make a vid of it plowing! I am not sure how that plow setup works but I cant wait to see the ELF pulling it.

I'd like to see how that works too!

Yes I also would like to see how it works :smilewink:. If I can get er indoors to work the camera I will get a Video, hopefully my ploughing will be up to standard - guess we will all find out soon hopefully before Will has his fit.

Nice to see Elf dressed up, and ready to go. Looks good.

As Dan said, I'll probably freak out, if there isn't a video in the

near future. :D

Did you notice it being lighter on the steering at all?

I think with the front weight fitted the balance was about the same as without the ploughs.

I plan to ruin I mean plough the garden this weekend

John

John, the garden is just dirt. I don't think you will do lasting harm to that plowing it. Go for it!

Well I eventually got around to trying to plough with the Elf if you can call it that. I still don't have the rear wheel weights fitted which didn't help with traction but I think with a bit of help setting the ploughs properly from the guys who plough with their Gutbrod's it should all come good.

I also have a short video but need to work out how to shrink it down before uploading

Looking forward to the video Gav! One thing with those double plows.....be hard to have a plow day with one of those! Be a standoff coming & going! :D

Thanks guys, I never actually progressed to using the left plough. I was having enough trouble with the one I did use and as it was just a short plot I was working on it was quicker to reverse back down and start in the same direction.

I can just see two tractors heading straight for one another ploughing the same furrow :D GT version of playing chicken :rolling:

Video is now added to previous post, I think!

John

Thanks John for the great video, and pictures.

So that's what an Elf is supposed to do. :D

That horn sure came in handy, for motivating those chickens.

Looks like it does a fine job plowing , thanks for the pics

Not posted for a while so here's an update of the latest Gutbrod items I have found

Aerator

Not used it yet, in fact it doesn't look like it has ever been used and came with the original sales receipt dated 1968.

Grubber and tool frame/depth wheels to mount it

Again doesn't look like its been used much if at all

Oh and of course the PTO adapter to go with the trailer which I posted about at the time of purchase

http://gardentractortalk.com/forums/topic/28824-mf-elf-gutbrod-pto-driven-trailer/

It was missing the Guard but I managed to borrow one to copy

So, when will that trailer be in operation?
Been waiting for a demo video.
It did make it to a local agricultural show last year but no video though just a photo before we set off

There was a link for a video of a stationary test in the original trailer post - Not sure how to link to it from here

And I have a feeling I posted this pic once before somewhere

If I get half a chance I will get a video this summer but I have a major project replacing a shed roof that has nail rot so will be busy with that for a while.
