I think I would start by replacing the condenser. Sounds like it could be getting warm and shutting things down until it cools down.

I have had the intake gasket (between the carb & the engine) cause similar problems on a Briggs engine.

 

This has been bugging me all day. Actually, my answer has bugged me. It wasn't the gasket itself, but the mounting bolts. As the engine ran & heated up, the bolts would come loose and it would suck air around the intake gasket. A little blue Locktite solved the problem.

Those would have to be some awfully loose bolts!!!

 

I replaced the condensor and points but it still happens. Starts right up idles fine for about 90 seconds then dies out.

It might be it's running just long enough to run the gas in the float bowl empty..

 

try loosening the fuel cap,vent might be clogged. it sounds like it dies out too fast to be a heat related problem, i would hang a small tank iv style straight to the carb and bypass the original tank and lines,if it runs for five minutes you know the problem is between the carb and tank,if the gt has been sitting a year or more i always pull the float bowl off to check for water and varnish and for needle and seat fuel flow function. best of luck.
